On December 15, the District II (Cebu Metro South) held its BEC assembly in Pardo, Cebu. On December 19, District III (Cebu South-East) held its BEC assembly in Argao, Cebu. Over 1,200 delegates coming from 19 parishes of district III attended the assembly held in the Diosdado Macapagal Gym in Argao. The assembly started with the opening liturgy presided by Bishop Lito Cortes  with 16 priests concelebrating. After the Mass, Bishop Cortes gave a talk on the Year of the Faith. Immediately after lunch, Mgr. Antonio Quintana gave an inspirational talk.  This was followed by a  talk on “The Journey Towards a New Way of Being Church” which was given by Fr.
